UX/UI Designer (freelance)

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in UX/UI design.
• Experience with Shopify and other ecommerce platforms.
• Agency experience preferred.
• Proficient in Figma.
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong sense of ownership.
• Strong communication skills to convey and articulate designs to both clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients to understand business goals and objectives.
• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback in collaboration with Strategist.
• Develop and/or optimize usability audits, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, sitemaps, mockups with a mobile-first approach.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and solve existing UX/UI issues.
• Guide and document how and why components, styles, and patterns are applied in code and design.
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams.
• Effectively collaborate with product, project management, and engineering teams.
• Explore opportunities to enhance, improve, and expand methodologies and work.
