Requirements:

• 2 to 6+ years of experience in related field litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury.
• Juris Doctor degree.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in Florida.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Clear and concise documentation skills.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and resolve conflicts.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Researching laws and preparing legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda.
• Rendering opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department.
• Preparing and handling pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Defending all assigned matters by trial or dispositive hearing.
