Requirements:
  • Candidates must live in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of successful, progressive experience in QA or equivalent.
  • In-depth understanding of QA methodologies & testing environments.
  • Thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycles.
  • Strong consultative and analytical skills.
  • Experience in developing and enhancing manual and automated tests.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies (C#, Json, JQuery, HTML5, CSS).

Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Director, Software Quality Assurance, the Software QA Engineer works collaboratively with the QA team.
  • Ensure constituents have a great user experience with Common App’s software products.
  • Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive system tests.
  • Perform functional, security, accessibility, and compatibility tests.
  • Identify and confirm the resolution of defects based on established QA methodologies.
  • Assist departments across the organization with quality assurance activities.
