Software Engineer - Backend (Remote)

Requirements:

• BA/BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases such as Redis, Postgres, or Cassandra.
• Fluency in Python and Ruby on Rails.
• Knowledge of web servers and web application servers (e.g., Apache, Jetty, Tomcat, IIS).
• Experience with code repositories like Git.
• Database design skills and ability to produce high-quality code.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Background in ReactJS is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Rapidly develop scalable, flexible, and high-performance backend systems.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend software and databases.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.
• Perform DevOps tasks including server setup, maintenance, and recovery.
• Contribute to company growth through interviewing and onboarding efforts.
