Requirements:
- 2+ years of testing experience, 5+ years of SQL programming experience
- Experience using Excel including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas
- Strong analytical, organizational, and team skills
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, MIS, Business Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and meet project delivery dates
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- K-12 education experience preferred but not required
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of users and teammates both written and verbally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to analyze and interpret requirements, file layouts and test cases
- Ability to perform unit, system, and performance testing
- Ability to produce status reports and communicate status of projects on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Data Analytics Team in testing data extracts, reports, and dashboards to ensure data quality before release
- Create, execute, and monitor test plans including tracking and documenting findings
- Create test scripts using SQL programming to validate data points against transactional systems and the data warehouse
- Help to implement a formal QA process including creating templates and documenting standards and processes
- Collaborating with business owners and subject matter experts to clarify requirements and to complete user acceptance testing
- Creating documentation needed to support repeatability of testing metrics.
