Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a technical role designing, developing and releasing production systems.
- Experience building or architecting at scale (early startup hire or FAANG-tier engineering).
- Strong fundamental thinking and ability to explain architectural trade-offs.
- Proficiency with Python-based backend programming.
- Experience with web frameworks like Flask.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Ability to design RESTful APIs following best practices.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, and Claude.
- Experience working in diverse, dynamic, and cross-cultural teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain APIs, services and systems and debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack.
- Collaborate closely with our Business, Product and Data Science teams to understand and solve customer pain points at scale.
- Design, Develop, Implement and Deploy enterprise level, high availability web application platforms.
- Create a technology infrastructure that functions well at scale and improve system architecture.
- Own end-to-end design and implementation of real-time data ingestion and processing.
- Build features, harden internal tooling, and create alerting and monitoring systems.
- Make architecture trade-offs explicit and defensible.
- Instrument build and identify performance bottlenecks.
