Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in project management, program management, or government program execution.
- PMP Certification.
- Knowledge of NOAA’s NWP modeling suites.
- Experience managing complex programs with multiple workstreams.
- Experience supporting government contracts, federal programs, and task orders.
- Strong project management discipline including schedule and risk management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, or GitHub Projects.
- Experience supervising and managing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall project management for the NOAA contracted program across the IDIQ and task order levels.
- Serve as the primary program management liaison with NOAA stakeholders.
- Manage the PMO operating cadence, including kickoff, progress, leadership, and task order reviews.
- Establish and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Lead development and maintenance of core program artifacts like Project Management Plan and risk register.
- Oversee task order implementation, resource planning, and schedule tracking.
- Coordinate across technical leadership and corporate functions.
- Partner with Ops to support contract execution requirements.
- Maintain visibility into program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Prepare and support customer briefings and executive reports.
