Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to balance technical delivery with mentoring.
- Strong Python skills (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, pyspark).
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure, Databricks).
- Familiarity with data warehousing tools (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning models.
- MLOPS experience (Databricks, MLflow, AWS Sagemaker, Vertex AI).
- Proficiency with Git versioning workflows.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning models, from data acquisition and feature engineering to production monitoring.
- Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business problems into data science frameworks.
- Develop and refine complex data features from large-scale datasets.
- Champion data quality and integrity.
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot the performance of deployed models.
- Provide technical leadership in statistical modeling and machine learning.
- Document and present complex methodologies and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists and analysts.
