Requirements

  • Advanced medical, clinical, nursing or similar degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, PA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a MSL or comparable industry or clinical role
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in rare disease
  • Demonstrated ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders
  • Knowledge of healthcare environment and external experts
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based personnel
  • Strong strategic mindset and ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite and digital platforms
  • Willingness to travel 60-75% of the time
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers
  • Develop and execute projects and program material in alignment with launch readiness plans
  • Participate in medical education through virtual/on-site presentations at institutions and conferences
  • Communicate emerging data and clinical experience through scientific exchange
  • Provide clinical presentations in response to unsolicited questions
  • Contribute to launch readiness plans and provide input into strategies and tactics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and HEOR teams
  • Monitor competitive landscape and scientific trends to adjust product strategies
  • Document and report adverse events and product complaints per company policy
