Requirements
- J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
- Proven track record managing high-stakes litigation and outside counsel.
- Broad commercial litigation experience, including antitrust, trade secret, and breach of contract matters.
- Working familiarity in IP litigation and protection (patent, copyright, trademark).
- Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.
- Exceptional judgment, communication skills, and business acumen.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company’s full litigation portfolio, including commercial, antitrust, trade secret, breach of contract, IP, and consumer protection matters.
- Oversee strategy, budgeting, and outcomes for litigation handled internally and by outside counsel.
- Provide clear, strategic counsel to executives on litigation posture, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation across business lines.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the General Counsel on legal operations, innovation, and efficiency, including the integration of AI tools.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the litigation and IP team.
- Oversee the company’s IP protection strategy, providing guidance on trade secret, trademark, and copyright matters.
