Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with systems administration and operations.
  • 5+ years of experience in performance trend analysis and alert generation.
  • 5+ years of IT documentation support (SOPs, playbooks, requirements capture).
  • 5+ years of experience monitoring/troubleshooting with two or more APM tools (AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, Aternity, or SolarWinds).
  • 2+ years of experience monitoring/troubleshooting applications logging to Splunk.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math (or 13+ years of professional experience in lieu of degree).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement incident response processes for system interruptions.
  • Maintain and verify accurate Knowledge Articles and operational workflows.
  • Configure and document Event Management dashboards to ECC standards.
  • Ensure Critical Business Functions are accurately reflected in documentation.
  • Confirm maintenance schedules and impact hours to reduce false positives.
  • Perform enterprise-level triage and incident resolution.
  • Coordinate with system and application owners to gather design and functionality details.
  • Conduct performance trend analysis and alert generation for failing services.
