Requirements
- 5-7+ years building streaming or high-throughput data systems.
- Experience designing and operating production data pipelines with large volumes and low latency.
- Proficiency in Go or Python.
- Experience building services interacting with Kafka, pub/sub, websockets, or REST APIs.
- Understanding of blockchain concepts and on-chain data across multiple models.
- Experience with data transformation patterns and schema evolution.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery) and storage systems (GCS, BigLake).
- Experience deploying and operating services on cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
- Strong practices around monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Build streaming data pipelines for blockchain data and market data.
- Design and implement data contracts and validation gates for schema compliance.
- Architect standardized ingestion patterns for rapid onboarding of new feeds.
- Establish redundancy and failover patterns for Tier 1 availability and freshness SLOs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design certified data products with clear SLAs.
- Partner with Data Platform team on orchestration, storage, and metadata management.
- Advocate for contract-governed data supply chains and establish engineering standards.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and mature observability and testing practices.
