Requirements
- 4–6 years of UX research experience.
- Experience in both consultancy/innovation firm and in-house product settings.
- Skilled in qualitative methods: interviews, diary studies, concept testing, usability testing.
- Growing comfort in quantitative approaches: surveys, behavioral data analysis, A/B interpretation.
- Ability to scope studies independently and choose fitting methods.
- Strong synthesis skills to identify root causes.
- Strong communication skills for writing and presenting.
- Collaborative and reliable work style.
- Curiosity about home ownership and home improvement markets.
- Comfortable working in AI-assisted workflows.
Responsibilities
- Independently scope and execute research studies based on product decisions and risks.
- Work across multiple data sources: qualitative interviews, usability sessions, concept tests, lightweight surveys, and secondary research.
- Participate in and support generative and discovery research such as concept testing and opportunity framing.
- Synthesize across sessions to identify root causes and motivations.
- Connect insights to near-term roadmap decisions.
- Communicate findings clearly to product, design, and engineering partners.
- Present to cross-functional partners and director-level stakeholders.
- Use AI tools to accelerate synthesis and research operations.
- Contribute to team practice, improve templates, and mentor junior researchers.
- Build trusted relationships with product and design partners.
