Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental site assessment and remediation
- Experience with Brownfields, CERCLA, RCRA Corrective Action, and/or state Voluntary Remediation Programs (VRPs)
- Proven project manager with the ability to oversee multiple projects and subcontractors
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging remedial technologies
- Experience with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Physical capability to carry up to 25 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated platforms
Responsibilities
- Direct medium- to large-scale complex projects to ensure internal and external expectations are met for scope, budget, schedule, and quality
- Write, review, and oversee technical documents, reports, and engineering designs, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), cleanup alternatives analyses, remediation plans, and work plans
- Review Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs) and Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs) to ensure logical, efficient, and defensible sampling for site characterization
- Interpret engineering, geological, hydrogeological, and chemical data from contaminated sites to evaluate, design, and optimize multi-media remediation systems
- Manage, mentor, and train junior and mid-level staff to support professional growth and project success
- Assist with recruitment of environmental site assessment and remediation staff to expand project teams and capabilities
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple clients and internal stakeholders
