Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional Biomedical Engineering or Clinical Engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting network-connected medical devices and clinical systems.
  • Proven experience in project management or PMO-led initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or CCE certification.
  • Proven experience working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Knowledge of government contracts and VA-specific acquisition processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Health Cerner Millennium or EHRM deployments.
  • Familiarity with HTM industry tools (One Source, ECRI, Best in Class).
  • Knowledge of federal regulatory requirements (TJC, ISO).
  • Experience with HTM CMMS platforms (AEMS/MERS, Nuvolo, Maximo).
  • Familiarity with LLM tools and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and execute multiple HTM-related projects involving the Oracle Health Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) efforts.
  • Collaborate with EHRM stakeholders across Biomedical Engineering departments and VA medical centers.
  • Utilize government acquisition and procurement systems knowledge (One Source, ECRI, Best in Class).
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to VA leadership.
  • Provide technical support for networked medical systems and enterprise HTM initiatives.
  • Coordinate maintenance of network-connected medical devices with IT and cybersecurity teams.
  • Assist with medical device risk mitigation and vulnerability remediation.
  • Integrate LLM applications to support decision-making and process automation.
