Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years in audit programs, project management, or contract compliance.
  • At least 5 years managing federal subcontractor audit programs.
  • Deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and OMB Uniform Guidance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary audit teams.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent audit engagements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting findings to executive and government audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the execution of incurred cost audits for identified subcontractors.
  • Plan and coordinate other subcontract audits ensuring timely completion and documentation accuracy.
  • Evaluate subcontractor accounting and estimating systems for regulatory compliance (FAR Part 31, CAS).
  • Direct audits of subcontractor cost/price proposals for allowability, allocability, and reasonableness.
  • Develop and deliver detailed audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Liaise with government contracting officers, procurement officials, and subcontractor representatives.
  • Ensure audit workpapers meet GAO Yellow Book standards and internal quality controls.
