Requirements
- Minimum 10 years in audit programs, project management, or contract compliance.
- At least 5 years managing federal subcontractor audit programs.
- Deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, CAS, and OMB Uniform Guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary audit teams.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent audit engagements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience presenting findings to executive and government audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the execution of incurred cost audits for identified subcontractors.
- Plan and coordinate other subcontract audits ensuring timely completion and documentation accuracy.
- Evaluate subcontractor accounting and estimating systems for regulatory compliance (FAR Part 31, CAS).
- Direct audits of subcontractor cost/price proposals for allowability, allocability, and reasonableness.
- Develop and deliver detailed audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Liaise with government contracting officers, procurement officials, and subcontractor representatives.
- Ensure audit workpapers meet GAO Yellow Book standards and internal quality controls.
