Requirements

  • Proven success in software sales, ideally in a mid-market or enterprise context.
  • Ability to guide customers through the full buying journey.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience documenting and maintaining accurate pipeline data.
  • Skill in conducting win/loss and root cause analyses.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and presenting to customer stakeholders.
  • Interest in GitLab and open source software.
  • Familiarity with Git, software development tools, or application lifecycle management.
  • Fluency in Russian and English.

Responsibilities

  • Own a broad book of businesses, from new prospects to growing existing accounts across the CIS region.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for prospects, from discovery and solution alignment through negotiation and close.
  • Support prospects by clearly articulating GitLab's DevSecOps value proposition.
  • Analyze wins and losses and share lessons learned with internal teams.
  • Document and maintain accurate buying criteria and pipeline data.
  • Contribute to improving the sales handbook and processes.
  • Provide account leadership across pre- and post-sales.
  • Represent the voice of the customer by contributing product feedback.
