Requirements
- Deep experience in utility-scale renewable energy development with a track record of leading projects from origination through NTP.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen (capex modeling, financing structures, EPC strategy, project pro-formas).
- Ability to operate as an executive-facing engagement leader with C-suite stakeholders.
- Fluency in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) impact on solar/BESS deployment.
- Proven ability to present complex technical risks to investment committees or C-suite.
- Proven ability to own outcomes and think strategically.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Deal Lead for utility-scale development engagements, owning overall engagement strategy, commercial positioning, and client communication from origination through NTP.
- Guide clients through the full development lifecycle including financial structuring, EPC strategy, execution planning, and commissioning.
- Lead executive-level client discussions as a trusted advisor.
- Partner with Sales for scope definition, proposal development, and commercial strategy.
- Delegate and oversee internal workstreams to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
- Collaborate with technical and financial leaders for project alignment.
- Drive clean handoffs to EPC and Asset Management phases.
- Contribute to process development and team mentorship.
