- CPA designation
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced SQL skills
- Deep knowledge of ASC 606
- Experience drafting technical accounting memos
- Ability to read and interpret commercial contracts
- Data reconciliation skills across large datasets
- Experience owning collections
- Experience managing external partner relationships
- NetSuite AR, billing, and automation experience preferred
- Background at a high-growth technology or marketplace company preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and build the end-to-end automated invoicing and revenue accounting cycle in NetSuite
- Liaise with the data warehouse team to reconcile source data and drive data flow improvements
- Own the full invoicing cycle across all partner arrangements
- Interpret and account for complex deal structures including tiered revenue share and variable commissions
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606 and draft technical accounting memos
- Maintain the AR subledger, reconcile to the GL, and own month-end close
- Use advanced SQL to independently pull, validate, and reconcile large transaction datasets
- Read and interpret commercial contracts to surface accounting implications
- Serve as the primary Finance contact for external partners on dispute resolution and remittances
- Establish internal controls and support external audits
