Requirements

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (verbal and written)
  • At least 1 year of experience in medical front office, medical administrative, or care coordination roles
  • Strong healthcare administrative background
  • Familiarity with Elation or similar EMR systems
  • Strong customer service and patient engagement skills
  • Professional phone presence and compassionate demeanor
  • Reliable laptop/desktop with high-speed internet (min 25 Mbps)
  • Noise-canceling headset and webcam
  • Ability to pass a local police clearance/background check

Responsibilities

  • Manage appointment scheduling and patient communication
  • Perform insurance verification and claims processing
  • Coordinate referrals and manage patient records
  • Communicate with providers and healthcare partners
  • Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and messaging
  • Manage incoming faxes, emails, and texts
  • Provide administrative support for billing
  • Serve as provider and patient care coordinator
  • Support remote patient monitoring activities
