Requirements
- Strong financial/accounting background.
- Relevant business degree with emphasis in accounting/finance preferred.
- Hands-on experience advising under-capitalized small business owners.
- Ability to explain complex FP&A data in plain English.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Bias for growth and ability to hold clients accountable to goals.
- Comfort working in a high-performance environment with 40-45 hours/week commitment.
Responsibilities
- Act as fractional CFO/Controller for up to 30 clients.
- Analyze client financials to spot trends and risks.
- Correct and manage messy financial data with bookkeepers.
- Deliver financial insights and hard truths to business owners.
- Conduct ~60 hours/month of client-facing time via Zoom or phone.
- Perform independent file prep and internal team alignment.
