Requirements
- 5+ years of business development, account management, or similar sales experience in the defense sector.
- Deep domain expertise in Federal and Dept of War (DoW) domains.
- State-of-the-market understanding of technologies, trends, and branch-specific needs.
- Experience building strategic relationships with DoW program leaders and defense industrial base primes.
- Exceptional networking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to present to high-level stakeholders.
- Understanding of emerging trends in UX Design and Development.
- Ability to travel for events and meetings approximately one week per month.
Responsibilities
- Lead the expansion of Rocket's footprint across specific Department of War (DoW) branches.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with large defense primes and government entities.
- Steer the business development pipeline for continued growth.
- Attend and network at professional events and meetings to represent Rocket, averaging one week per month.
