Requirements
- Degree in Business, Management, Sales, or Marketing, or equivalent (MBA preferred)
- Ten plus years of high-value sponsorship sales experience, ideally in the sports industry
- Proven track record in pitching, negotiating, and closing high-value sponsorship agreements
- Adept in sales pipeline management, reporting and leveraging CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Strong network and relationships with potential sponsors
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal, relationship building and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Analytical mindset for identifying sponsor needs and ROI
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve sponsorship revenue goals
- Lead the identification and prioritization of potential sponsors based on their fit with Formula One
- Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
- Lead the negotiation of sponsorship contracts
- Lead the creation of custom sponsorship proposals and presentations
- Work with research and BI teams to understand market trends
- Leverage existing network and cold outreach to connect with decision makers
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure a collaborative sales process
- Engage in weekly team meetings and provide routine sales updates
