Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or 10 years experience).
- Proficiency in at least two primary programming languages (C#, SQL, Java, Swift, Kotlin, or equivalent).
- Experience integrating with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner) using HL7 or FHIR.
- Hands-on expertise in platform security (ACLs, encryption, identity management, HIPAA compliance).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-lifecycle development of complex features using advanced OOP and design patterns.
- Architect system specifications and data models.
- Manage integrations between internal applications and EMR platforms (Epic, Cerner) using HL7 and FHIR standards.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for HIPAA and PHI safeguarding protocols.
- Conduct feasibility studies and requirements gathering for healthcare systems.
- Translate high-level healthcare challenges into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Lead code reviews and oversee testing across unit, integration, and UAT phases.
