Requirements
- 7 years’ experience in Agile software application development.
- Proven expertise delivering web-based products in cloud-first environments.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Ability to design and evaluate AWS-based architectures.
- Experience managing teams of 4 to 8 direct reports.
- Proven track record in people management, hiring, and development.
- Strong communication skills with experience leading architectural discussions.
- Exceptional planning and prioritization skills.
- Ability to travel 3-5 times per year to office locations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership by reviewing/writing code and guiding architectural decisions.
- Define technology strategy in partnership with product and design teams.
- Manage team scope, performance, and operational costs.
- Cultivate an inclusive, high-performing, and engaged engineering culture.
- Manage direct reports, including hiring and professional development.
- Interface with business partners to align on roadmap and priorities.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and adherence to technical standards.
