Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expertise in Python, specifically FastAPI.
- Experience in frontend development frameworks, ideally React and React Native.
- Experience in AI orchestration and building applied AI products.
- Experience building data pipelines, fine-tuning models, and evaluating AI tools.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build prototypes from the ground up.
- Experience mentoring other engineers.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and communication ability.
Responsibilities
- Lead exploratory spikes, proof-of-concept projects, and early-stage prototyping end-to-end.
- Identify strategic opportunities in AI/ML and translate these into actionable prototypes.
- Serve as a technical leader on AskCR RAG chatbot and own architectural decisions.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams including Digital Product, Data Engineering, and Advocacy.
- Establish and refine practices for documenting experiments and research outputs.
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of experimentation.
