Requirements
- Knowledge and working understanding of revenue cycle concepts in the healthcare industry.
- Ability to apply principles such as charge capture, coding, billing, reimbursement, and denial management.
- Experience with A/R management, process improvement, and standardization.
- Experience with audit readiness, audit material preparation, and corrective action plans.
- Experience with compliance management, policy development, and risk assessment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex revenue cycle data and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with electronic health records and billing systems.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis and reconciliation of A/R data to identify trends.
- Support the development and implementation of A/R management strategies.
- Prepare and organize materials for internal and external audits.
- Develop clear, concise, and well-supported audit responses.
- Implement corrective action plans to address audit findings.
- Support the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with federal and industry regulations.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Prepare project status reports and presentations.
- Conduct research on industry trends and federal healthcare regulations.
