Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4-6 years of progressive Accounting experience.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and ASPE.
- Experience with tax authorities.
- Technical familiarity with ERP systems and integrations.
- Proficiency in Excel for financial reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Project management and change management experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review general journal entries for all companies.
- Prepare and review management level reporting and variance analysis.
- Evaluate and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Prepare and update account reconciliations and balance sheet analysis.
- Prepare entries for payroll transactions.
- Coordinate with tax professionals for tax returns and compliance.
- Document and maintain departmental processes and internal controls.
- Collaborate on special projects, including software implementations.
