Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, IT, DevOps, or SRE roles, including strong production system ownership.
- 4+ years of hands-on DevOps or cloud engineering experience in scalable SaaS or distributed environments.
- Strong expertise with AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, deployment pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
- Solid background in monitoring, observability, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell or similar) and automation mindset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and operate in fast-paced, distributed teams.
- Exposure to AI tools for engineering productivity and system optimization is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Own and operate production cloud environments, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance across distributed systems.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using automation-first principles and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Develop and improve observability, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively detect and prevent production issues.
- Support incident response and on-call operations, diagnosing and resolving complex system and application issues.
- Partner with engineering teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release reliability.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions with a focus on scalability, resilience, and long-term maintainability.
- Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement across infrastructure, deployment, and operational workflows.
