Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
- 3+ years of special education experience.
- 2+ years of experience writing and utilizing IEP documentation.
- Ability to obtain Special Education licenses in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other assigned states.
- Proficiency in Mac OS, Google Workspace, and task management tools like Asana.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of state and federal special education compliance.
Responsibilities
- Build accurate, complete, and compliant student onboarding records.
- Transform complex intake documentation into actionable records.
- Maintain meticulous records to ensure compliance standards.
- Coordinate with families, records teams, and service providers.
- Identify and resolve documentation gaps or risks.
- Facilitate transfer and initial special education meetings.
- Monitor systems to ensure timely communication and service delivery.
