Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental programs, technical training, compliance, research, or data-focused analytical roles.
- Strong proficiency in environmental data analysis, with the ability to validate, interpret, and document complex datasets.
- Excellent technical writing and reporting skills, with experience producing government or regulatory deliverables.
- Confident public speaking and facilitation skills for delivering training to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities, including managing multiple concurrent deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within contract-driven and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, organize, and deliver training sessions for stakeholders and permit applicants involved in federal environmental programs, particularly Class VI UIC permitting processes.
- Develop and present technical and scientific materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between agencies and stakeholders, supporting communication, training delivery, and environmental program outreach.
- Perform data validation, including spot-checking datasets, verifying calculations, and documenting methodologies for auditability and reproducibility.
- Produce technical reports, summaries, and documentation that meet QA/QC standards, accessibility requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate and manage virtual and in-person training events, including scheduling, platform setup, and participant support.
- Track project milestones, maintain records of participation and feedback, and support continuous program improvement efforts.
