Requirements
- 15+ years of game development experience.
- 8+ years of people management experience.
- Experience managing managers.
- Multiple shipped titles with at least one in a senior engineering leadership role.
- Expertise in at least one core engineering discipline in Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with outsourced engineering partners.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end game development pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead an engineering organization of 15+, managing individual contributors, leads, and managers.
- Serve as the senior engineering voice in studio leadership discussions.
- Partner with production and pod owners to deliver sprints and milestones on time.
- Allocate engineering resources across pods based on skills and project needs.
- Mentor and coach engineering staff to foster career development.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks for the project.
- Contribute hands-on to gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5 using Blueprints and C++.
- Partner with recruiting on headcount planning and team structure scaling.
