Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in SAP Basis or SAP technical support roles, including exposure to ECC, NetWeaver, or related SAP technologies.
  • Hands-on experience supporting SAP systems in enterprise environments, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or AIX and databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or MaxDB.
  • Understanding of SAP architecture, system maintenance, patching, and transport management processes.
  • Experience with SAP NetWeaver components, J2EE administration, and portal environments.
  • Familiarity with integration, single sign-on (SSO), and security configurations (e.g., SSL, LDAP).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and support 24x7 operations when required.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Portuguese, with strong client interaction capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced SAP Basis support by diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across SAP landscapes including ECC, NetWeaver, PI, and HANA.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand issues, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality support delivery.
  • Develop and implement application fixes, scripts, and corrective solutions for system defects and data issues.
  • Support configuration, administration, and troubleshooting across SAP environments, including integration and infrastructure components.
  • Manage assigned client accounts as a technical advisor, ensuring consistent and proactive support engagement.
  • Work with SAP transport tools (including CTS+) and support system change and deployment activities.
  • Contribute to system maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Participate in a 24x7 global support environment, ensuring timely response and resolution of critical incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve knowledge sharing, diagnostic tools, and support methodologies.
