Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend working experience.
- Experience in building and operating backend systems in production.
- Proven ability to design database schemas and backend architectures for complex business workflows.
- Strong backend fundamentals and experience building APIs and backend services.
- Proficiency with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Deep understanding of authentication and authorization concepts (RBAC, OAuth, SSO).
- Commitment to clean, maintainable code and engineering best practices.
- Experience working closely with product and founders in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and comfortable taking ownership in a small team.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the backend architecture of our multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Build and improve APIs and services powering document processing workflows, integrations, and internal platform logic.
- Design robust data models in PostgreSQL that support multi-tenant environments, complex workflows, and customer-specific integrations.
- Work directly with the founders to shape the architecture of the platform.
- Integrate external systems such as ERP platforms and accounting tools via APIs and event-driven workflows.
- Improve authentication and authorization mechanisms, including RBAC and SSO integrations.
- Introduce engineering best practices across the backend stack, including testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring.
