Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology or a related field.
  • Professional registration (P.E. or P.G.).
  • At least 10 years of experience in energy infrastructure siting, permitting, and licensing.
  • Experience managing permitting and compliance of linear energy infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in project planning, financial management, risk management, and contract management.
  • Experience with FERC certification process and NEPA.
  • Experience with federal permitting (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, USACE 404, etc.).
  • Strong entrepreneurial attitude and interest in business development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform business development, project management and technical leadership for air quality projects.
  • Manage emissions quantification, carbon and climate change programs, and regulatory permitting.
  • Maintain marketplace visibility through client contact and industry presentations.
  • Provide technical leadership for Clean Air Act and GHG regulatory analyses.
  • Oversee air permitting (NSR, PSD, Title V) and dispersion modeling.
  • Manage projects and staff including technical oversight, risk management, and mentoring.
  • Assist in recruiting and training staff.
  • Serve in a leadership role for company culture and values.
