Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology or a related field.
- Professional registration (P.E. or P.G.).
- At least 10 years of experience in energy infrastructure siting, permitting, and licensing.
- Experience managing permitting and compliance of linear energy infrastructure projects.
- Experience in project planning, financial management, risk management, and contract management.
- Experience with FERC certification process and NEPA.
- Experience with federal permitting (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, USACE 404, etc.).
- Strong entrepreneurial attitude and interest in business development.
Responsibilities
- Perform business development, project management and technical leadership for air quality projects.
- Manage emissions quantification, carbon and climate change programs, and regulatory permitting.
- Maintain marketplace visibility through client contact and industry presentations.
- Provide technical leadership for Clean Air Act and GHG regulatory analyses.
- Oversee air permitting (NSR, PSD, Title V) and dispersion modeling.
- Manage projects and staff including technical oversight, risk management, and mentoring.
- Assist in recruiting and training staff.
- Serve in a leadership role for company culture and values.
