Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience in Federal cybersecurity operations or IT security analysis
- Hands-on experience with RMF processes and security documentation
- Familiarity with NIST standards (800-37, 800-53, 800-171)
- Familiarity with FISMA compliance
- Proficiency in security tools: Tenable, Trellix, RSA NetWitness, Microsoft Sentinel, or Xacta
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enhancement of the GPO Technical Reference Model (TRM) tools
- Create project plans, risk analyses, test plans, deployment guides, and supply chain risk management artifacts
- Collaborate with ITOps divisions to design and deploy IT security technologies
- Ensure security controls are embedded in infrastructure projects
- Perform ongoing testing and support of operational security tools
- Maintain SOPs, white papers, and configuration change documents
- Assist in the maintenance of security measures for GPO systems aligned with NIST SP 800-37 and SP 800-53
- Develop and maintain RMF documentation including POA&Ms and boundary diagrams
- Support security incident response and vulnerability mitigation
