Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2 years of engineering experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehousing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience in an AS9100 or ISO9001 production environment
- APICS certification (preferred)
- 3PL industry experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of quality systems, lean manufacturing, and work cell manufacturing
- Proficiency with analytical tools like flowcharts, Pareto charts, and run charts
- Project and resource management experience
Responsibilities
- Identify facility design requirements based on activity levels, product profiles, and flow methods
- Specify material handling and storage equipment solutions
- Recognize and specify use of automation where justified
- Identify office equipment and facility up-fit requirements
- Create equipment and operating supply lists and purchase requisitions
- Develop IT equipment (hardware and cabling) requirements
- Establish tasks and processes required to complete proposed work content
