Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Active CPA license.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven experience owning full-cycle accounting operations, including multi-entity financial consolidation and reporting.
- Hands-on experience managing external audits and ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Strong experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite or similar general ledger platforms.
- 4+ years of people management experience.
- Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all core accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, revenue recognition, tax activities, and consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare and present financial statements and management reports, delivering clear insights to support executive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage external audits end-to-end, coordinating with auditors and ensuring audit readiness, documentation accuracy, and timely resolution of findings.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency across accounting processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Partner with finance and strategy leadership to provide financial insights, support strategic initiatives, and enhance overall financial operations.
