Requirements
- Proven ability to execute complex technical requirements independently.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with experience analyzing order, customer, and attribution source tables.
- Expert-level experience with dbt Core and dbt Cloud, including building mart models.
- Knowledge of MetricFlow-compatible YAML configurations.
- Proficient with Snowflake schema design, query testing, and data sharing setup.
- Background in Analytics Engineering, specifically translating external vendor schemas to internal DTC data models.
- Experience with GitLab for branch management and merge request workflows.
- Prior experience with marketing mix modeling (MMM) or incrementality vendor integrations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Participate in vendor scoping sessions to finalize full table and field requirements.
- Model a dedicated datamart in dbt transformations marts layer.
- Translate vendor schema specifications into internal field mappings including DTC-adjusted logic.
- Configure Snowflake data sharing and connections for vendor ingestion.
- Write comprehensive dbt tests and documentation for all delivered models.
- Manage the full merge request workflow using GitLab.
