Requirements
- Minimum BA/BS degree, Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 6+ years of related industry experience.
- Experience with renewable energy industry preferred.
- Knowledge of battery energy storage system use cases (PFR, FFR, black start).
- Expertise in plant control systems using standard SCADA and PLC platforms.
- Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition.
- Experience with Schneider Electric Modicon PLCs, SEL RTACs, and Novatech Orions.
- Proficiency in DNP3.0, Modbus, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols.
- Programming experience in Python, IEC 61131-3, C, C++, C#.
- Knowledge of NERC/CIP/NIST procedures and cyber-security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate control system infrastructure.
- Perform PPC, HMI, and RTU programming and technical documentation.
- Ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability of plant automation.
- Provide technical support and solve complex operation technology/control system problems.
- Oversee network technology upgrades, hardware installation, and integration testing.
- Participate in on-field construction and plant commissioning activities.
- Serve as subject matter expert for control and instrumentation systems.
- Collaborate with internal groups and external EPC vendors on project bidding and execution.
