Requirements
- Significant experience in DevSecOps, AI and AI policy in government, or IT security
- Experience selling to, supporting, or working within the public sector
- Experience creating technical marketing content independently
- Experience delivering security, cybersecurity, or compliance-related solutions
- Knowledge of software development tools and the end-to-end SDLC
- Understanding of CI/CD and modern software development practices
- Experience with cloud computing
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for executive communication
- Ability to coordinate across time zones
- Experience in technical pre-sales or similar customer-facing IT roles
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a technical consulting and advisory role during the pre-sales process
- Deliver executive-level thought leadership on DevSecOps, security, and compliance
- Build and maintain relationships with customer leaders such as CISOs, CTOs, and security architects
- Partner with marketing to develop content and support media engagement
- Educate customers on the GitLab platform and support deployment enablement
- Assist with responses to government publications and public-private partnerships
- Participate in working groups connected to government standards
- Curate field feedback and collaborate on sales strategy and enablement
