Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government, or related field
  • 5+ years of business development, capture, or sales experience in federal contracting
  • Demonstrated success winning federal contracts
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes
  • Experience with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules)
  • Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and capture efforts across the full federal procurement lifecycle
  • Identify and qualify federal contracting opportunities
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with company capabilities
  • Develop and execute win strategies
  • Foster relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners
  • Support proposal development by contributing to solutioning, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting within CRM systems
