Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government, or related field
- 5+ years of business development, capture, or sales experience in federal contracting
- Demonstrated success winning federal contracts
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes
- Experience with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules)
- Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Lead business development and capture efforts across the full federal procurement lifecycle
- Identify and qualify federal contracting opportunities
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with company capabilities
- Develop and execute win strategies
- Foster relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners
- Support proposal development by contributing to solutioning, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting within CRM systems
