Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering
- BS or advanced degree in computer science or related field
- Extensive experience in AWS and Kubernetes/EKS
- Experience with monitoring tools like Cloudwatch, Event Bridge, DataDog
- Experience managing change management practices
- Experience building secure development/test environments integrated into CI/CD
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with FinOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD automation tools such as GitHub Actions
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell
Responsibilities
- Help build and maintain a container based infrastructure that is elegant, redundant, scalable and compliant
- Deliver an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in AWS
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in a reproducible and secure manner
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with developers to ensure applications are built with scalability, reliability, and security in mind
- Develop custom scripts to increase system efficiency
- Maintain security program controls and compliance on frameworks like HIPAA and SOC2
- Participate in on-call PagerDuty rotations
