Requirements
- J.D
- From an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one US state
- 7+ years of experience in litigation (healthcare liability required) and employment law
- Experience managing outside counsel
- Conducting workplace investigations
- Drafting employment policies
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage full litigation portfolio and serve as the legal partner for People & Culture team
- Lead strategy across commercial disputes
- Medical malpractice claims
- Employment matters
- Partner with operations to identify liability risks
- Conduct internal investigations
- Oversee outside counsel
- Provide legal advice on employee relations
- Performance management
- Policy updates across multiple jurisdictions.
