Requirements
- 6+ years of HR Business Partner, People Partner, or related HR experience.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members.
- Strong expertise in employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, leave administration, and HR compliance.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience supporting both in-office and remote employee populations.
- Strong operational acumen balancing strategy and execution.
- Proficiency with HR and people systems such as Rippling, Greenhouse, and Trainual.
- Experience with intern or early career programs preferred.
- Experience supporting DIBs or culture initiatives preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted People partner to employees and leaders across the San Francisco office and remote workforce.
- Lead Highwire’s performance management strategy, ensuring it fosters growth, accountability, and clear career pathways.
- Manage employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Champion manager enablement programs to help leaders coach and retain talent.
- Own compliance efforts across multiple states for payroll, benefits, and leave administration.
- Lead office attendance tracking and operationalize hybrid workplace practices.
- Partner cross-functionally to support DIBs programming and intern program coordination.
- Manage and support 1–2 direct reports.
- Identify and implement People process improvements focused on efficiency and scalability.
