Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, AppSec, or related roles
- Hands-on experience building security automation or internal tools
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD environments (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Deep understanding of web and API vulnerabilities and remediation strategies
- Familiarity with SAST, SCA, DAST, secret detection, and ASPM platforms
- Experience designing or improving vulnerability management pipelines
- Proven ability to work across engineering teams and influence without formal authority
- Strong communication skills for technical and leadership audiences
- Hands-on mindset with AI tools and interest in AI-assisted security
- Experience mentoring others
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain vulnerability engineering pipelines including threat intelligence and security signal ingestion
- Develop automation to filter false positives and generate actionable remediation outputs
- Enhance security tooling integration into CI/CD workflows and developer environments
- Partner with engineering teams for accurate triage, prioritization, and efficient resolution
- Improve incident response and post-incident processes through runbook development
- Drive cross-team coordination on complex vulnerability issues
- Experiment with and scale AI-driven security workflows for faster detection and remediation
- Contribute to evolving security architecture standards
