Requirements
- 5+ years of experience implementing and scaling DBT in a team setting.
- 5+ years experience in production data modeling on cloud infrastructure (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Very strong understanding of advanced SQL performance implications.
- Familiarity with Spark or distributed data processing.
- Track record of building data pipelines using CI/CD (e.g., Github Actions, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with integrating AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
- Skilled in data visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Omni).
- Self-service capabilities in Git.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high impact code to create pipelines, visualizations, dashboards, and solutions.
- Leverage DBT expertise to manage data transformation layers.
- Lead architecture discussions and implementation of scalable data models.
- Ensure data pipeline performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Build and maintain a modern data warehouse architecture.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to capture requirements.
- Partner with power users to enable data fluency and self-serve reporting.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted coding and documentation.
