Requirements
- RN licensure required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Medical peer review or healthcare industry knowledge.
- Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting (preferred).
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and manage time efficiently.
- Computer literacy and typing skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the review of Physician reports and medical records.
- Assign QA staff to files and manage the File Review Board.
- Supervise staff performance including promotions, discipline, and coaching.
- Assist in hiring qualified candidates for QA positions.
- Ensure staff follow-up with physicians for reports and review reports for accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to client-specific instructions and Turn Around Time (TAT).
- Act as a liaison between the reviewer, team member, and client.
- Manage issue resolution with physicians and account managers.
