Requirements
- Track record of owning a product area or substantial problem space end to end.
- Strong product judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes situations.
- Fluency in technical and architectural trade-offs to partner with engineers.
- Evidence-led decision-making using data, research, and merchant input.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align conflicting interests.
- Experience in payments, fintech, or other complex, regulated, or infrastructure domains (preferred).
- Experience building or improving systems and rituals for product teams (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and outcomes for your product area, translating company objectives into a multi-quarter plan.
- Resolve genuine ambiguity with evidence and judgment.
- Run discovery and an ongoing insight system, including research and feedback loops.
- Work closely with engineering on implementation, architecture, and long-term technical direction.
- Set GTM direction including positioning and pricing input.
- Make sophisticated trade-offs across scope, quality, and timing.
- Raise the quality of product thinking through documentation and playbooks.
- Act as a credible product voice with senior stakeholders and key merchants.
