Requirements

  • 2–4 years of dedicated B2B Business Development or outbound prospecting experience.
  • Proven focus on mapping and targeting enterprise accounts.
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Outstanding active listening, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to hold peer-level conversations with technical executives and developers.
  • Demonstrable track record of hitting and exceeding pipeline generation goals.
  • Sharp time management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and remain coachable.
  • Aptitude for learning complex IT software products and database technology.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high-potential enterprise businesses and map complex corporate structures.
  • Develop and execute territory plans using multi-channel outbound prospecting.
  • Leverage open-source community interest to drive enterprise sales cycles.
  • Partner with Marketing and Enterprise Sales to design and lead account-based campaigns.
  • Facilitate high-level sales discovery calls.
  • Engage and influence senior IT leadership and architecture teams.
  • Nurture early-phase enterprise opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate lead activity records in Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Consistently hit monthly and quarterly outbound opportunity quotas.
